Halloween 2021 - Costumes for Kids & Toddlers

The spooky time of year is here! My favourite time of year, indeed! I wanted to make all of the costumes unisex but some meshes were not playing nicely with my flagging edits. So you get the original ones.

 

You get a whole plethora of costumes for kids and toddlers. Let’s get into them:

 

Generic Costume for Toddler Female: This is just a generic Halloween costume, the sort where it can be anything! Dress it up as a witch, a fairy, a princess... whatever! Mesh is ANCIENT - early 2005! (I was ten when this mesh was made. Holy crap.) It’s by Pronupsims which is LONG dead and has some issues around the legs but it’s not visible if you’re using it for posing and doesn’t cause any other issues.

 

Mario & Luigi Costumes for Toddler Males: Just what it says on the tin! Dress up as your favourite brothers. I couldn’t find an appropriate hat mesh in time but toddlers HATE wearing anything they don’t have to, right? I swear, the amount of tiny kids that show up every year in normal clothes and half a costume is... most of them. The mesh is by fakepeeps7 and the base is by them too, but I modified it to look like most costumes out there.

 

Squid Game Costumes for Child Unisex: The adult/teen/elder costumes converted down for kids, on another fakepeeps7 mesh, completely identical in every way. Also, why are people letting their kids watch this show? (I mean. I would have snuck around to watch it at that age. But still.)

 

Caveman Costume for Child Unisex: Unga bunga! Me caveman! Or just dressed up as one! In any regard, have this stereotypically Hollywood-styled caveman costume for your boys. I tried my best to get a shirt underneath but the mapping... *shudders* NOT HAPPENING. It’s some of the worst mapping I’ve EVER seen, and not even the fault of the mesh creator (Cocomama, included) but rather Maxis during Uni’s development. Shame on you, Maxis. That’s some absolutely awful mapping. The texture is taken straight from TS3. The shoes are Maxis.



Squid Game Robot Doll Costume (Younghee) for Child Female: Everyone is familiar with the killer robot in Red Light/Green Light now, it seems. So, I took some textures from Eltanin and edited them with a Sanneke94 mesh, and Amaryll textures on the socks... voila! Obviously credit to all of them.

 

Tinkerbell Costume for Child Unisex: Sparkly and bright, this Tinkerbell costume is sure to make your kid freeze half to death because look at how short it is. Even with the bike shorts I stuck underneath. But maybe you’re somewhere more tropical than me, in which case, I bet it’s fine. The wings have a small flaw at the tips, but that’s EAxis during TS3′s fault... geez, how does this company train people to mesh so weirdly?! Conversion done by darkmoon689 from TS3, included!

 

Inflatable Ghost Costume for Child Unisex: Inflatable costumes seem to be all the rage these days. I wanted to make an Among Us costume but time got away from me what with the eviction etc, so, I had to think - and saw a ghost in a Lowe’s flyer that was actually a decoration, but looked PERFECT for this weird old Bloo mesh by skankyboy from 2006! (Geez. Time flies.) It out-competed the caveman costume for terrible mapping, so it looks a bit floodfill-y, but I promise it’s not. Pinky swear. It looks a bit strange when the kid moves around too quickly but it moves in a very silly way and they can sit down without feet clipping through etc.
