Give your kids some totally Maxis Match flair this Christmas and have them be the coolest kid at the school’s before-Winter-Break pancake breakfast… which I now am realising is not a thing in many parts of the world. (You get handed little mini oranges and get fed lots of pancakes and get to sit down and watch movies in your pyjamas. It’s nice.)

A lot of you remember going to the mall and picking out a faceplate for your phones, and later, chunky cases to protect them. This is for the former of those two experiences, for your sims who need to play Snake and make calls and that’s... it? Besides saying, “Call me after 5 PM, it costs less.”
The textures do not belong to me - they are the work of nokiaman12159 on MTS. I just exported the mesh, made it a bit bigger, and made it recolourable with the help of omgsims2‘s default phones.
As with before - you cannot have another default for the cell phone along with this one. Take it out when you’re done using it!

Whew, that’s a mouthful.
This week I bring you a truly unique treat - a 4t2 conversion of @sewersims Motorola DynaTac cell phone, as a default replacement for the TS2 phone.
This is PERFECT for your mid-1980s sims! Well, the rich ones (or ones with rich relatives), anyway. This phone, according to Wikipedia, was priced at NEARLY FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS in 1984! That’s nearly ten grand now. Holy crap.
It obviously replaces the Maxis cell phone, so you can’t have any other cell phone defaults and have mine work properly.
I worked very hard to make it the right size and make sure it doesn’t clip much - luckily the animations line up 99% of the time! It was a really hard thing to do, and took a lot of adjusting. I was up for many nights making sure it looked PERFECT.
Also, did you enjoy how hard I worked to make the sims look the part? Because I worked hard on that. If you want to see more 80s CC, I highly recommend my Pinterest boards - I’m also @2FingersWhiskey on there! I have over 100,000 pins, organised as best I can, JUST OF SIMS STUFF. I’m not trying to self-promote but I’ve been told by dozens of people on here (and elsewhere) that they’ve really appreciated my Decades sections and thought this was an appropriate time to shout that out. Get your CFC-laden hairspray and shoulder pads ready!
Thank you to Sewer Sims for the mesh, all I did was export it and spend days tweaking around with it to make it work in TS2.

So, we all are wearing our masks still, right? đź‘€ (If not, well, be glad I can’t smack one onto you through a screen.) Well, sims may need masks too - if they’re a doctor, or if you’ve decided their hellscape matches ours a little too closely, they’ll need something safe, colourful, and disposable. Reusable masks are already out there to get on our sim-faces, but these feature a variety of colours (not all pictured), pleats for sizing, and also make your face less itchy.

We all love the basegame piano, but it looks OLD and honestly, not as realistic for the modern family to own. This changes that! With permission from the creator on S4S, I’ve converted the piano (and narrowed its depth a little) to TS2! It’s fully recolourable, fully functional, and fully good-looking!

So, 2020 is over. THANK GOD. (Or the Gregorian calendar.) Happy New Year 2021! Or not yet. It’s like 9 PM PST, here.
Here’s a 4t2 conversion of the Invisiview Wall TV. It’s way more modern than my other conversion. The inspiration was that my mother recently got a new TV as a gift - ours broke after 10 years of service - and it looks quite similar to this one, actually! It’s also a narc smart TV, and after disabling every single smart option there is, I noticed it has this menu that pops up every time you leave it on for too long without doing anything.
So, in addition to the regular “black” custom off screen - the screen that shows when the TV is, well, turned off - I added a recolour. It’s a mostly handmade “smart TV” menu! It stays lit, even when the TV is off, in a dark room. Perfectly annoying, no? Just like our TV. Sigh.
I spent a lot of time on this and am very proud of it, but it isn’t without its faults. Just like my last TV, it’s mostly cloned from a beautifully made TV by Sophie-David - the custom off screen idea is her invention! - and thus has a few “quirks” I couldn’t get out, such as a pie menu item that is called “disenchant.”
What it means is sims will no longer autonomously use the TV and will ignore it unless directed to use it. However, I cannot for the life of me change the name of the damn strings involved without the file blowing up on me, so, pretend it’s magic.

So, these are Aquilegia's shirt textures taken and wrangled onto an edit of Amaryll's 3D top by Trapping. It's the pregmorph-added version, too. Everyone needs some basics, right? Nothing wrong with just throwing one of these bad boys (girls?) on. I take only credit for the colours and stripes.

I saw this really cute athletic top online in an advertisement and decided, hey, what the hell. I have Bodyshop open, and my drawing tablet in front of me. So I wrangled some base textures (mostly my Fanseelamb blend) together, added some shading etc etc etc - you get the point. It's in four colours. Enjoy. (Also, I hate that hem, but it's accurate to the IRL shirt.)

Ja's Magnolia blouse was very steampunk-y, and I wanted to use it to make something else. I think I've already done an edit of it once, somewhere, but this one was entirely handpainted to look Maxis Match - sort of like that one blouse outfit from the basegame for AF.

Drawstrings - 10 Suza Gym Bag Recolours
So, this is a cute little mesh, right? Well, it was a horror to figure out the dead-simple mapping on, because it was mapped terribly despite it being like, two squares. I know. Weird. Here's ten colours - mostly plain, but three are more athletic-inspired. I see these around a lot and decided my sims needed them, so here you go! There's also one that is burlap, sort of more for medieval sims.

IKEA Ektorp Set (And More!) in Lingbo Multicolour
So, one of my best friends has a cursed couch. It's from IKEA Canada, because IKEA USA decided, smartly, to stop selling this godawful grandma pattern from hell. I love it. It's terrible. And I decided, not so smartly, to make it for your sims to sit on and contemplate the fact that there are much, much nicer couches sold by this company and they chose this one. It has everything! Yonic imagery! Weird muddy colour scheme! Jonesi's bed blanket! MysticRain's Earthliving cushions! Panache! Camp! Etc!

Polar - 4 Pyjamas for Child Male
Nothing quite like having a new set of pyjamas, I say. And for your boys (sorry, girls, I can't figure out how to change the flags on this mesh) you get four new sets of tops and bottoms, inspired by a local catalogue of children's clothes! (We've been getting a lot of magazines by mistake. I don't know why. None of them are incorrectly addressed either. Hm.)
Anywho, these have socks, which I promise are not floodfill like the image suggests - it's just weird lighting. The folds on the bottom of the pants are also something I did, and have proper shading.
I hope your boys get a lot of use out of these!

4t2 GeniusVision Wall TV (Advent Week One)

My advent has gone mini, because of the new restrictions on how often one can use a tag on Tumblr and still show up in it - but I hope you will all still enjoy this gift!
Sit back and enjoy the most hi-tech offering of 2014! Or whenever TS4 devs made this TV. Wall-mounted, about the same size as the TS2 wall TV, and coming in exactly one colour, this TV is completely average nowadays and will stick to whatever wall you want it to! Who could ask for more?
It also has a custom off screen (!!!!!) thanks to the efforts of people like Numenor, who figured out the code, and Sophie-David who improved upon it. Thank you two so much! The TV still works normally, however when off, it looks like an actual modern TV should - no grey!

I apologise deeply for this being so late - we had a turkey "loaf" my mother brought from America tonight and it made all of us feel quite sick. We'll never do THAT again, that's for sure... how the heck do they make it into a loaf anyways?

Mou - Peggy 120108 Boots Accessory Retextured
These boots were a favourite of mine when they first came out, but they've been in dire need of a makeover ever since. So, I set to it! It turns out they're not modelled after short-necked Uggs, but after a company called Mou! These are for Teen to Elder sims and feature five colours taken from Mou's site - grey, beige, brutalist grey, black, and blue!
They work best if your sim is wearing bare-footed bottoms.

Nightgowns are a convenient way to say "I want this to bunch up under my arms as I wiggle around in my sleep to the point the entire thing is half off by the time I wake up." I had a white one just like this as a kid, from a thrift store - it was very old, and I loved its silky texture, despite it being wool! Your sims can love these, too. They were made to somewhat match a few "historical" creations, but not identically - so it sort of fits a vague colour palette that you already have from the likes of Skell or PlumbBobKeep creators.

Sorry again for the late post! It's only just 8 PM here, but whatever, it's late for most non-Pacific Time people! I went to go see a Star War with my brother - a tradition of ours since we were little is that Star Wars movies are Christmas movies. I remember my brother getting SO EXCITED by getting Attack of the Clones on DVD that he opened the DVD player box early!
Here are some nice, warm, fleecy robes (housecoats in my region, bathrobes or dressing gowns to others) for your sims to wear when it gets a bit frosty out! They come with some hand-painted wool socks by me, using an EA texture from TS3 as the base! There are eight different designs (two are different colours of one pattern, as they were made to be a matching set for a sim-couple of mine) and are for teen, adult, and elder females!
You get a Santa-themed one, blue snowflakes, red or green presents, an Elf-theme design, some snowbirds, and two more "generic" designs for those who may not celebrate Christmas but want some nice winter robes - teal and hot pink snowflakes on a natural cream base, and heavy-duty buffalo plaid! Almost all of these are based on designs I've seen in stores.

Everyone knows that one lady - or maybe is that one lady - that always looks vaguely like she'd be accused of witchcraft in the middle ages. I grew up with a girl whose mother fit that exactly, and she wore dresses like this quite often in our mild winters, because they were actually quite warm! So, this is for them!
