What's better than dressing your children up in seasonal outfits and getting them to pose for pictures they'll complain throughout to the point the photographer gets out the hand puppets? Anything, you say? Well, these kids in the previews cooperated, so... here's 20 holiday-themed sweaters for children of all genders to say "it's itchy!" and "I'm too hot in this!" in. It's not exclusively "Christmas" sweaters but some are more winter-ish in general, as an added bonus. I know not everyone celebrates Christmas, but everyone likes to be warm, so... here you go!

Clean Sweep - 4t2 Broom as Mop Default (Advent Day Fourteen)

So, this download wouldn't have been possible without TheNinthWaveSims' base code for the mop default, so, go check them out! (They do a lot of cool, unique stuff!)


 
Another default is upon us! This time it's the broom from TS4's base game as a default for the mop! Not every sim wants to use a knockoff Swiffer for their floors. Sometimes they just want a simple push broom - and this is for them! It works the same way that my 4t2 mop did. This default is basegame compatible and extremely low-poly!

[TS2/TS4] I've Been Good - 8 Onesie Recolours for CU (Advent Day Twelve)

So, this is kind of a special upload because TS4 players FINALLY get some CC too! I promised I'd do a few uploads with an added bonus, so, here goes These are some onesies (pyjamas) with some Christmas designs for children, with the zippers transferred to the back. Nice and snuggly for Christmas morning or just getting excited about another day in the snow over a nice, warm bowl of dinosaur hot oatmeal!*

*(Dino oatmeal sold separately. Batteries not included. Please contact your lawyer before use. This joke should not be read within 2 hours of other oral medications.)

TS2 Version


Another amazing conversion by Rented-Space has been recoloured mercilessly by me. This time, in Christmas motifs! This version is Basegame Compatible and not enabled for random sims or anything. It also is not available for outerwear.

TS4 Version



This version is standalone from the original package but still requires GT (as far as I'm aware!) and nothing else. All designs are in English (sorry, I play with Simlish but I lost the backups of the textures in a hard-drive problem this week) and part of one package. You can use both at the same time, but... why?



Enabled for Pyjama category, Cold Weather, and is enabled for Random. It's sorted under Jumpsuits and Pyjamas because if I just sorted it as Pyjamas, it wouldn't show up right for Cold Weather. I tested this package extensively and had no issues. It has no custom thumbnails.

*glances at other disclaimers* Oh, also, no Reshade was used, what you see is what you get! I barely touched the screenshots beyond sharpening them slightly.

Modern homes require modern backsplashes - something this game sorely lacks! So, for day ten, I bring you 15 recolours of Mira's Talido backsplash in a very 2019 style.



They're perfect for more than just behind counters, though! Use them to split up wallpaper, add to a bathroom, or even spice up the outside of a building!

Wordmas - 25 Cassandre Ornament Recolours (Advent Day Nine)

These ornaments are directly inspired by a weird trend I've noticed on places like Pinterest or in craft aisles - words on Christmas baubles in a simple font to give a very rustic, farmhouse feel.

So, of course, I had to make them. You get 20 holiday words with some bonuses - red, yellow, green, blue and white-coloured plain ornaments.

I have also taken the liberty to reduce the poly count of Cassandre's ornament mesh from ten bazillion (I think it was like 15k? I can't remember) to around 1000 or so. Don't quote me on that, but I believe that an ornament does not need to make your game flash pink. You can use her mesh (not included) or my edit of her mesh (included) but not both. Let my file overwrite hers.
 
It may look slightly more angular/less detailed at the top but it's nothing you can see from far away.

Gardy-Loo! - 4t2 Mop Default (Advent Day Eight)

So, this download wouldn't have been possible without TheNinthWaveSims' base code for the mop default, so, go check them out! (They do a lot of cool, unique stuff!)

This is a 4t2 conversion of the mop, to replace TS2's rather cheap-looking sponge mop. My mother cleans as part of her job and has seen the TS2 mop before. She asked what dollar store the sim got it from because that thing is going to do nothing to clean a puddle of water.

TS4 remedied this by giving us a nice, larger one. So, I converted it with Sims4Studio and defaulted it. Sims will whip it out to mop anything up. Other than that, it won't interfere with anything like extracted mops as objects that you may have.

Fave Flavours - NightBlue6678 Yogourt Tubs Edited (Advent Day Seven)

Yogurt? Yoghurt? Yogourt? However you spell it, it's good for you and tasty, too!

NightBlue6678 converted some yogourt tubs from GTA5 to TS2 some time ago - however, they had a racy joke on the label, and were open/finished, which made it a bit useless if you wanted to, say, put it in a store. So, I edited the mesh to close it, and gave it a makeover with some more universally-appropriate fake branding.

You get two "brands" - Nature's Farm and MooFree. One is just yogourt, the other is vegan. So, something for everyone! I came up with the designs on my own from free-to-use images.





Nature's Farm flavours included are Wildberry, Plain, Strawberry, Vanilla, Peach, Mango, and Blueberry!





MooFree flavours include Granny Smith, Vanilla, Blueberry, Strawberry, Lemon, Cherry and Plain Coconut.



MooFree Desserts flavours include Frosted Cupcake, French Macaron, Chocolate Shavings, Sweet Lychee, App Strudel, Pumpkin Spice, and Fresh Coffee.

Windchill - Hoodies for Teens & Adults (Advent Day Six)

Advent Day Six brings you some various zipper hoodies for teen and adult sims! I wanted some more styles for Amaryll's retro hoodie meshes (and Trapping's lovely addons!) and so, I came up with a few that I hope will take the chill away. They are separate tops and are categorised for everyday because I still can't figure out how to enable them for outerwear (help).

There are six wool/knit hoodies, a hoodie in either pink or blue with an ampersand, and a vaguely army-styled one.

Tone Arm - 18 Moxxa Vinyl Stack Recolours (Advent Day Three)

For day three of presents, I bring you some recolours of Moxxa's Vinyl Stack. I love vinyl and have a huge collection of it downstairs. Though I'm more of a high-quality cassette guy (an entire half a closet is just cassettes of mine!), there is something intentional and very meditative about vinyl and how manual it all feels compared to the digital feeling of most any other format. The rich and warm audio, the unique divots and quirks of each pressing, and having to maintain and care for each purchase makes vinyl a draw for many.

Four Eyes - 4 Pairs of Glasses for Teen-Elder (Advent Day Two)

For Advent Day two, I bring you four hand-drawn pairs of glasses for teen to elder sims! They are based off of Prida Eyeglasses No. 2 and are Base Game compatible! They look great on any sim and are very, very low-poly so performance issues are never a problem.











The four pairs include:
  • Round Gradient: Buddy Holly-style glasses that fade from black to semi-opaque at the bottom of the frame. Very masculine and timeless.
  • Oval: classic early 2000s metal-framed glasses in faux gold. Outdated yet practical, often used as reading glasses or for older sims.
  • Square: a modern style with thin metal sides and a matte black appearance. Extremely sleek and chic, for a modern sim.
  • Cat Eye: making a comeback, some pointed-edge frames reminiscent of midcentury designs. Very feminine, with tiny rhinestones included.
There may be some pixellation close-up. This is the result of the mesh itself, I can't fix that.

Family - 6 Cassandre Ornament Recolours (Advent Day One)

Why not start this year's advent calendar off with what means the most to many people - family? Whether it's family by birth, marriage, circumstance or choice, we all tend to end up with at least some people who will put up with us for long enough to celebrate the holidays with!

December Announcement!

From December 1st to 24th, I will be posting my regular TS2 Christmas Advent Calendar full of CC! But this year, I've decided to also do something special to honour some of my closest friends and my partner's own family heritage! I will be doing... (drumroll please) Eight Nights, which is a Hanukkah themed TS2 CC gift posting schedule, from December 22nd to the 30th. Then on December 31st, special New Year's Gifts!

So, a full month of gifts! Keep your eyes open! I hope that there will be something for all of you to enjoy.

I may even sneak under the tree/menorah/kinara/festivus pole some special TS4 conversions of one or two of my gifts, which will be marked clearly so nobody downloads the wrong thing.

Advent is wrapping up! Quite literally - I'm doing wrapping, or should be! As a small gift to end this - as I'm not able to make anything more at the moment, due to how busy I am - I've made something for our friends who celebrate Christmas on the opposite side of the coin. 

Here's Dead Rising 2's lawnmower! It costs around $500 in Deco - Misc (but don't quote me on the price) and is ripe to sit there as your spouse yells at you to please mow the bloody lawn.



Forgot to menton: this mesh is low-poly and will be okay on 99% of computers!

It's Christmas Eve Eve, and thus, time for something big! A posebox, in fact! Thank you to my friend Allie for helping me out with this!

These are a set of mother/baby or mother/toddler poses - something that we're sorely lacking! Some of the baby poses are a little messed up, as such... but I think they'll work just fine for storytelling purposes!

You need this set of OMSPs for this to work properly and to adjust the poses if they don't fit quite right for your sim's outfits.

Life is Strange Conversions (Advent Day Twenty-One)

I'd like to start off by saying that I started converting these in May 2017, and they are NOT perfect. They need MANY improvements and require a knowledge of OMSPs and some CC to really look nice and function well. 



Here's a bunch of conversions from the game Life is Strange. I tried to hit a lot of bases and useful clutter was a big part of that. I modified a few of the meshes to fit Maxis proportions! :D The above is an example of what you can do with this (there's some CC that is, of course, not part of this set).



Some room clutter.



School clutter.




Classroom chair.





Rugs - with many recolours!



Bunk bed and regular dorm bed.




Max's shelf and radiator.




Functional radio!

Known issues:
  • You need to place bunk bed friendly mattresses or shiftable mattresses in order for the beds to work properly.
  • They work, however, sims will float.
  • The top bunk does nothing.
  • Max's shelf has no slots.
  • The desk registers as 2 tiles and has a floating slot I can't get rid of no matter how hard I've tried.
  • The dresser has no animations because the original mesh had no animations.
  • Some of the items aren't perfectly centred.
