On Tuesday, October 11th, my computer is going into the shop for a few days to get its harddrives replaced due to damage by an internet service technician back in May. I will not be on this blog as I will only have my phone.

YES. I KNOW. MAY.

But still.

I'll have some scheduled posts for you guys to download during that time, just in case I lose any data. :O

Sorry to hear that Whiskey..been enjoying your updates..if I was you try to put as much stuff on an external drive..so if you do lose some (hopefully none) you won't lose it all..

Hope you get up soon..now you know better than to use an internet service tech..right lol..don't do it again haha

We had to use the tech sadly (they were hooking up wiring, we're renters, it's policy or something...) and he screwed up massively. We could've done it ourselves but the company said no. He had no reason to be anywhere near my computer.

Sadly also, he knocked over both my computer tower and the external harddrives (four of them) ruining three. The fourth external drive needs to be plugged in and I don't have the plug for it. :/

So I'm just hoping SFS can store my stuff.

The harddrives will come back with everything on them, thankfully - it's imaging, not a wipe. :)

Did you file a complaint against the company..boy I would have been all over them..and I would have made them pay for everything..I would be furious..

But am glad you are finally getting it fixed..and glad you won't lose anything..you have worked real hard on all your Creations.. :)

Yep. That's what's taken this so long. They've deliberately been shady with us about all of this. They refused to believe this happened despite me taking photos of everything. The tech lied about what happened. I could disprove this (I have OCD, my desk must be a certain way, he lied about the layout of my desk entirely) but that's inadmissible. The CCTS (complaints board in my country for this kind of stuff) is making them pay for the harddrives but nothing more (such as what I lost from the ones that bricked) unless we can afford a lawyer, which we can't. :/

At least they are forced to pay for the harddrives..so that is a good thing..sorry about the rest..

Hope you get it all fixed and back up and running :)
